Poison...

I'm just not understanding something...

Imagine, you're stuck in a jungle... you're thirsty... you haven't eaten in days, and your water has just run out...

Someone finds you and leads to to 2 water springs... one contains dangerously high levels of a toxin, the other is pure clear and fresh water.

They tell you, this one is definately the one you should drink, the other is poisonous. They themselves have then proceeded to drink from the water they recommended. Not only that but they give evidence that shows hundreds of other people have taken a drink from the very same spring.

Would you still argue with them? Would you still question the life saving nature of their advice? Of course you wouldn't!

So why do people question the Gospel?

1 He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

2 in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

and then following on...

"16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star."

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely."

This amused me...

how much does it take... lets not have another world war... especially when we appear to be on the wrong side of it eh!
